Victoria docked at the Embacadero , 50 years ago 1967. Wow has a lot changed , i know one thing the Waterfront looked better back in the day with the seiners and the nets on the dock. Send in your pictures to [email protected]

My father Sebastian Maugeri had purchased the M/V Victoria back the mid seventies. Originally planned to turn her in to a crab boat and send it north..
Plans changed, and he ended up,selling it to a Filipino shipping magnate named James Chonbien.
I had the pleasure of working on the vessel during the during the sale process. I was amazed at the way the purchaser had sent up a crew of 30 workers,and engineers in order to get her sea worthy for the trip back to the Filipinos.
