Proud Heritage…
Proud Heritage in a set. I grew up on this boat with my father who fished on it for years. Always well maintained , the heritage was owned by Manuel Silva and built by San Diego Marine. Honestly I believe its still fishing today last I heard the name was Yap Seagul I believe. Please share your photos with us at sdtunaboats@cox.net
Cape Elizabeth …
Seiner Cape Elizabeth built by Martinac in 1980 and launched the Tradition. Unfortunately this seiner caught on fire and sank a few years back. Please share your photos at sdtunaboats@cox.net
Chicken of the Sea…
Another classic from Kevin Madruga. Chicken of the Sea fishing manual. Definitely the good old days 1978. Please share your photos with us @ sdtunaboats@cox.net
Legacy…
Seiner Legacy with its chopper aboard . Beautiful seiner owned originally by Manuel Silva and built by Martinac Shipyard in 1982. Please share your photos with us so we can share them and make people smile in these tough times sdtunaboats@cox.net
Kevin Madruga…

Kevin, one of our best followers sends in his memories of his family boat the Spartan & Lococco brothers fishing albacore. Along with his father the legendary Anthony Madruga. Thanks Kevin
Mariner…
Another one of my favorite boats, Mariner built by Martinac in 1973. And sadly not very many photos of this seiner around. I could use a few if you have them ? Please share your photos with us at sdtunaboats@cox.net
School Fish…
So looks like we have a area of school fish. They may need a air traffic controller to direct traffic. Share your photos please at sdtunaboats@cox.net
Connie Jean…
Seiner Connie Jean built way back in 1966 by Martinac Shipyard. One of the last seiners to fish out of San Diego and I’m pretty sure no one predicted that one. Seriously I could really use some photos come on do something nice. sdtunaboats@cox.net
A little help please…
When your out to Sea most of the time there’s nobody to help. Kathleen towing in a broken down sail boat with its passengers. I believe they took them to Cabo San Lucas. I could only imagine how many days of fishing they lost, but as I learned from a great skipper you always do the right thing. Thanks to Mike Collette for sharing this photo. Please we could use help with pictures , send them to sdtunaboats@cox.net
