This was definitely a bad day on the Bay. San Diego Union article on the Azteca 2 on fire at the old Van Camps Cannery which has now turned into the Dole Plant. In the 70s and early 80s the Azteca 1 and 2 were very familiar  seiners in the Bay  . Share your photos at sdtunaboats@cox.net

This photo is of the Madrugador , built by Campbells Shipyard in 1975 for Mr Joe Madruga, one of his many boats he owned in his great life.
