Just about a year ago I was contacted by a salvage crew talking about the old Taurus I  (El Rifle ) which had just sank in near Columbia. I was able to put him in touch with the most knowledgeable gentlemen from Campbells Shipyard , Jim Boyd , Doug Dirks , Ralph Johnson, and Bruno Martin , who were able to answer some questions for the Salvage Crew . After a year the job is complete,  The Taurus has been re-floated . I was told to give the credit to the divers and men working on the barge who did one hell of a job .
