The age of Aquarius , this was a top seiner in its day. Dasilva family owned and later added the Sea Encounter to its fleet. Loved everything about this rig. Cheryl Marie, it really didn’t get more San Diego then this rig. One of the last seiners to leave San Diego in the late 80s or actually maybe even early 90s. Thank You to Kevin Madruga for sharing some of his memories with his crew members.Some of the crew in photos are Scott Porter, Kevin madruga , Louie Cunha and Fabian Daluz holding the razor.
