Granada…

Another beautiful seiner , built at Campbells in San Diego in 1974. Granada wasn’t always in San Diego , but it was wonderful when it was. Later changed names to Arkos II. Not sure the status now. Please send your pictures to [email protected]

Capt Joe Jorge…

Nice shot of the Capt Joe Jorge. This seiner has had a few different names, originally the Elizabeth CJ, later the Maria CJ. You couldn’t miss it with that baby blue paint job. We really need help with some photos please share at [email protected]

Jeannine…

Our great follower Michael Burt has sent us a couple of new ones. The Jeannine in Port Nelson,  New Zealand. Jeannine was a huge part of the San Diego fleet built by Martinac in Sept 1974. Thank You again to Michael. Send your pictures to [email protected]

Polaris..

Polaris was another great seiner. Built by Martinac she was later changed to the Gina Marie. My father was the skipper briefly so this seiner has a personal touch. Please send your pictures to [email protected]

Lois Seaver…

A very rare shot sent in by one of our great followers. Lois Seaver a Westgate seiner, this seiner is kind of personal. It later turned into the Mary Lucille my late Uncles boat. Unfortunately it sank near local banks shortly after leaving on a trip in the late 70s. Please share your pictures with us at [email protected]

Bettie M.

Bettie M, Great seiner that was lost way to early. Built in 1972 by Martinac the Bettie M,  ran aground in 1976 near the Columbia River in the Pacific Northwest. Not very  many pictures of this Great Seiner . Please share your pictures we could use any you have . [email protected]
