  1. Zapata Discoverer made its maiden voyage down to New Zealand waters.
    It bought down fuel and stores, for the Apollo.
    As it the action was too slow in NZ, and a spotter plane, pilot Graeme Bell, would monitor NZ.
    They then paired up, and crossed the Tasman Sea, to look for fish of the coast of Australia, staying just 12 miles out, flicking Apollo’s helicopter between them. Nothing found, but it was worth a crack.
    Back to fishing in NZ for one trip, both taking a part load back to American Samoa.
