OK time to comment in all you viewers out there, speaking of the Elizabeth C.J, did any of you know that the LIz CJ had an elevator platform, that you could ride in the mast ? ?
That was the only one in the fleet that I know of, any other rigs known to have one ? ?

Yes that’s true at that era ,don’t know if any of the future vessels had any, during the testing of the elevator operation and tension switch for pull and drag or weight was tested with sand bags , which I will say one thing, the shipyard went though a lot of sandbags….. A.R. R.
