Helping a hand…

May 1984 , Jeannine helping out 3 men adrift at sea. Put them on board for 24 hours as they headed to Guam. Lots of hot food , Showers and some Jeannine hats later they were on there way, they saw a few boats but no one stopped . Until the Jeannine showed up!

  1. Yeah, who was ever on deck watch while we were running, saw the light & thought it could have been a log or beeper. We'll it was not to be, but surprise, 3 islanders lost @ sea in a little Boston Whaler. They were broken down & adrift for days, until being spotted. We hauled them up with a cargo boom, with a rope bridal that Jasper, the Deck Boss made, fixed the outboard, loaded them up with provisions & goodies and got them back to thier little atoll that was North of Guam.

This made the front page of the Guam Tribune newspaper, after we made Port for some net work.

    I bet these three guys go to church more often . . . . . . .
