San Diego Tuna Boats

Seiner Theresa Janene tied up at the Embarcadero in San Diego . Built by Martinac in 1974, seemed like you could always find this boat next to Anthony’s Fish Grotto. Times have changed ,unfortunately they’re both gone now. sdtunaboats@cox.net

Beautiful day for a set ! Unknown seiner looks to be finishing up a set , I’m guessing this was in the early 70s. Anyone have any idea what seiner this is ? sdtunaboats@cox.net

Venturous built by San Diego Marine, I personally made my first trip fishing on this seiner. Wonderful boat unfortunately it sank outside of Panama around 1990 . Venturous was one of the last few seiners working out of San Diego at the end. sdtunaboats@cox.net
