First of all I’d  like to say Thank You to my good friend Michael Burt for sending this photo in from Nelson ,New Zealand. Two seiners with damage to the hulls due to collisions at Sea. Sea Quest, what a beautiful seiner, sister ship to the Antonina C. They both were a common site on the Embarcadero. This photo was taken by my father while aboard the Proud Heritage . Built by San Diego Marine in 1970 later she was sold in the late 80’s or early 90’s and unfortunately is no longer with us, I believe it caught fire and sank. [email protected]

Love this shot and I loved this companies seiners.  Always thought the color was so unique . Chiriqui 1 , along with Granada , Portobello , Marne K,  and later Sea Chase.  If anyone has photos of these seiners I would love to see them . [email protected]
