Beautiful day for a set ! Unknown seiner looks to be finishing up a set , I’m guessing this was in the early 70s. Anyone have any idea what seiner this is ? [email protected]

Venturous built by San Diego Marine, I personally made my first trip fishing on this seiner. Wonderful boat unfortunately it sank outside of Panama around 1990 . Venturous was one of the last few seiners working out of San Diego at the end. [email protected]

Sunrise in the Western Pacific with the Koorale . Originally launched the Royal Pacific the Koorale is one of the last American seiners still fishing. [email protected]

Connie Jean , looks to be doing some net work back in the days. This picture was sent to me and is not one of  my collection. Connie Jean was one of if not the last seiner to work out of San Diego. Guessing everyone would have lost that bet. Built back in 1966 by Martinac. [email protected]
