Built by Campbells Shipyard in 1978 she was a beauty , Pacific Princess is one of a few seiners still fishing ,although it has since been stretched to add more wells and doesn’t look anything like this. Well if you ever wondered what happened to the San Diego Tuna Fleet , this was Samoa in the 80s . Fleet was strong in the late 70s through late 90s. Thank You to Mark Taylor for sending in his memories from the fleet. [email protected]

Lets get a update on the Koorale, when last we saw this seiner it had been involved in a accident out at sea. After a long delay I’m happy to say work has begun on the seiner . Big shout out to my Nelson New Zealand partner Michael Burt for always providing me with great photos from Nelson.
