Chief Denny Blad …
Chief Denny Blad standing in front of the Connie Jean while it unloads at Crosby Street Pier around 1987. Denny was aboard the Connie jean from 1986 until 2007, and also was aboard when they spent part of the year off the East Coast fishing bluefin. He tells me they used to switch nets in Florida for either West or East coast fishing .
