Spots off of New Zealand…

What a great photo of the spots of tuna off of The New Zealand coast back in the 70s. Im told this was off the east coast of the North Island . Amazing how close to the Islands the Tuna was . This  Photo of the Cape May , originally The Legacy, getting a new paint job. The last in the group of Seiners owned by Cape Fisheries or Renato Curto to get the new trademark red .  This group of Seiners were all in San Diego at one time , The Legacy (Cape May ) Uncle Louie ( Cape Cod ) Bold Adventuress ( Cape Elizabeth ) Tifaimoana (Cape Finisterre) among others. Helicopter Pilot Adrian Rupp sent me this photo of himself  in the Chopper aboard The Capt MJ Souza in the late 1980s .
