Aquarius.

Well I’m not sure what to say. These pictures sent to me by my good friend Igor from Marco. This is the Aquarius in Ghana. Owned by the Dasilva family in its San Diego days. It was such a big part of my family’s life with my father and uncle both fishing on it for years. It was a beautiful seiner. sdtunaboats@cox.net

Very Sad news, I need to report the passing of a great fisherman . Joseph Scafidi. He was born in San Gregorio , Sicily in 1924. He moved to the United States in 1950 and earned  Masters papers a few years later. He was skipper of many boats in his career , his favorite the Finisterre. In 1982 he made his last trip on the Antonina C,  28 day trip Full load 750 tons. My condolences to his family. sdtunaboats@cox.net
