Jaiwon Master , one of the last seiners built at Campbell’s in San Diego. Great shot going out of the Bay with Point Loma in the background. In the 70s and 80s you couldn’t spend a day in the bay without seeing a seiner move around. Memories. Please send your memories to [email protected]

American Eagle part 2…..
A couple more from our good friend Mike Ryle. Collision happened around 2am if he remembers correctly, Obviously a very scary time and took the crew a little to realize what happened. Mike says it took about 30 minutes before they realized the boat wasn’t sinking. Horrible experience . Send your pictures to [email protected]

Great shot of the bow of the American Eagle after colliding with a tanker in the Gulf of Mexico. Heading form Puerto Rico to Panama . Serious damage but it could have been deadly .
