Mermaid…

Built 1949 at Peterson Boatbuilding Tacoma Wash. She is a 107-foot bait boat built for Captain Frank Correia and Associates of San Diego. 600 hp Superior diesel, two 150 hp, 75kw Superior Diesel auxiliaries, Baker refrigeration, designed by Wilvers & DeFever. sdtunaboats@cox.net

Valiant….

Hi,
    Valiant (255447) was built in 1948 by Martinac as the Calmar for California marine Cannery. That was the cannery next to Harbor boat on Terminal island. She had a 850 hp Enterprise and carried about 180 tons. Some who owned and ran her was Joseph C Rogers, Manual Andrade, and Frank (Champ) Brenna Jr.
