  1. She was attacked by Peruvian patrol boat in 1969 for supposedly fishing inside the 200 mile line. She was fired upon and received 50 bullet holes from the patrol boats machine gun. Two other San Diego tuna boats came to the rescue and rammed the patrol boat allowing Capt Juan Virissimo and crew to avoid capture.
