I need pictures to keep this site going. Everyone needs to help. I know you either have them or know a friend who does. Everything helps 1 or 2 .A seiner at dock or in the bay. A photo from sea. A newspaper article. Just trying to help keep our history alive. I can tell how many people visit this site i see the numbers. I see our pictures on other sites or on Facebook. Help us out send some back…

I think you have touched on a good subject here regarding photo's. Both you and I have been working together for sometime now and I appreciate all of you're help in offering photo's to use on my site. I too will run out one of these days if I do not keep the supply coming in. We have both worked very hard to keep our history alive for everyone to reminisce of memories of a once great industry that belonged to us. I've enjoyed bringing old friends together and have put many smiles on peoples faces when they see a boat a loved one was involved with or that they have sailed on long ago. I wish to see both of our sites continue on for many years to come but were going to need help from the community. My offer is that if someone has photo's that they want to share please contact one of us. I know some are not computer savvy and might not have the means to scan and email so we can help by coming to you and helping with that if needed. Not a problem if the photos are in bad shape either. I do a lot of photo restoration to most of the photos you see here and on my page. I want to thank all of you that have sent in photos to both us in the past, they are very much appreciated. Lets all work together in keeping this rich history alive for further generations to know what is was like to be involved in the tuna industry. Sincerely, Tom
Thanks Tom, well put. Hope we can keep this going but we will need help..
We cannot have the ship . . . . . . . go down.
Jimmy & Tom, I'll try to get you some, as you know I have quite a collection & not just static, siener shots at a dock or underway. We'll try some variety, crew, brailing, helo, crazy stuff that happens, canid-shots, accidents, & such.
Maybe Tom can use them also, over on his facebook site, to share.
With the photos, I'll try to explain the who, what & where for others to get involved.

Thank you Clyde. You have some amazing photo's and really appreciate all of you're help in keeping this going. Tom
Hello Tom & You're Welcome. Sad thing is, they could have been much better picture wise, if I did not have a cheap $19.95 110 film Kodak Instamatic camera from the early 70's.
I'll try to scan all the one I have over a period of time & you can use them as needed.
Stay Safe & Regards,
Clyde
