Sea Encounter in a set in Western Pacific. Recent photo taken in October of this year. Personally i feel its one of the better stretch jobs done. Boat still looks nice. Send in your photos [email protected]

The Sea Encounter was a part of our (Jeannine's) code group back in the 1980's out of Pago Pago.
Just wondering, after the stretch, any idea of what the tonnage is ?
Clyde
Clyde , i want to say its something like 1500 or 1600. Not totally sure..
Thanks Jimmy, I guess the idea of increasing the tonnage or stretching them was popular after my career ended. I also guess this equals to about 4 more wells added to the midships area to get a standard rig @ 1200 tons to the 1500 or 1600 capacity mark. It would be kinda cool to see one of these "operations" at a shipyard in progress. Thanks again, Clyde
Jimmy- I can send you some great shots of Sea Encounter (pre-stretch) from the early '80s. I took them from the chopper. I need your email address. [email protected]
We have unloaded 1680 S/T. We average around 1530 to 1580 now. If you have any pics you could share I would love to have them I was running the boat back then…
