trivia question. anyone know what the logo is on the bridge?
It's a fish smoking a cigar wearing a hat. Is it suppose to resemble a family member or some other reason?
Uncle Louie Castagnola could often be seen on the wharf, smoking a cigar.
i believe its a snapper fish. i think Uncle Louie nick name was Snapper so they put a cigar and hat on it so it looked like Uncle Louie. The Andrea C and uncle Louie had it also… Thats my story and im sticking to it..
That's correct, Snapper. He was down at the boat every trip we came home making sure we were taking good care of her!
My dad says this was a 700 ton boat. He remembers working on this one.
