My name is Michael Avery (Australian) and I worked for Tuna Fleet Management in the 70's on the 'Chiriqui' with Joe Gois as skipper. Transferred to the "Odette Therese" later years when Bobby Virisimo was the skipper. Really all I can say is the life I lead on those boats mapped out the rest of my life. I recently retired from working in offshore oil and gas in Australia. I have plenty of ols photos too. Thanks for the memories.

Hi, my name is Jimmy, I’m second generation Portuguese on my Dad’s side and first generation on my Mom’s. I’ve always had a passion for Tuna Boats and their colorful history and have, over the years, amassed a large library of photos and many stories to go with them.
