To my knowledge, Martinac did not build any stern engined boats. I was on the Conqueror and it was a Martinac boat (one of the last?) The main engine was in the center of the boat with fish wells ahead and astern of the engine room.

The first J.M. was a Martinac-Tacoma vessel, launched in 1967 & ran by Skipper Lou Brito, out of San Diego. Maybe this was a 2nd generation seiner ?
