Jimmy, Your correct on her being the Eliz CJ on launching. I think she was the Pamela Ann before the name change to Joe Jorge.
pamela ann came out as new boat..
Pamela Ann came out after both the Elizabeth and maria CJ's
This boat was renamed the Pamela Ann for a short time.. You are right Tom. There was a new boat named the Pamela Ann also. But at different times.
This boat was originally the Elizabeth CJ (1000 ton capacity) built at Campbell in 1972. Later renamed the Maria CJ. The tripod stick was unique at the time. A larger Elizabeth CJ (1500 ton) was built for the Jorge brothers in 1975 or 6,also at Campbell, it had a free standing stick. The brothers added the Brenda Jolene and Pamaela Ann to their fleet later (both built at Martinac).
